Transpacific Waste Site – Dardanup

For many years, we have surveyed the Transpacific landfill site in Dardanup. These monthly surveys are used to calculate the volume of waste at the site. The traditional method is for a surveyor to walk across the site taking measurements. This is hazardous and time-consuming.

Now, we use aerial technology – in the form of our Mavinci Sirius UAV  – to survey the site. Every month, Transpacific receives an image of the site with contours showing exactly how much more product can be placed in what areas.

This visual plan is not only is good for reporting and future planning but also for the staff on the ground to see exactly what is happening on the site.
